Quick answers

A few essentials at a glance. Detailed answers are below.

Do you work on both mechanical and quartz?

Yes. We handle mechanical, automatic, hand-wind, and quartz. Scope depends on model condition and parts availability.

Will you start work immediately?

No. We diagnose first and provide a written estimate. Paid work begins only after you approve the quote.

How long does it take?

Typical turnaround is 7 to 21 days, depending on the service and any required parts.

FAQs, arranged like a bench layout

Questions are grouped by intake, pricing, repairs, and after-service care. If your question is model-specific, an intake check is the fastest way to get an accurate answer.

What happens at intake, exactly?

Most asked

We photograph condition, record identifying details, confirm symptoms, and run baseline checks that do not require invasive disassembly. You receive an intake summary with an ID.

  • Condition photos: case, dial, crown, bracelet/strap
  • Baseline measurements when applicable (e.g., timing readings)
  • Written estimate before any paid work

If opening the case becomes necessary to quote accurately, we will explain what is required and why.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome during mall hours. Scheduling is recommended if you want extra time for symptom discussion, or if you are bringing multiple watches.

How do quotes and approvals work?

After diagnostics, we provide a written estimate. If parts are required, we list the options and expected lead times. No paid work starts until you approve.

If anything changes after opening the case, we pause and confirm before proceeding.

What kinds of watches do you service?

We work on mechanical and quartz watches across many brands. Serviceability depends on movement condition, parts availability, and prior modifications.

Practical note

If a watch has non-standard parts or severe corrosion, we may recommend a limited approach or refer you to a specialist.

Can you restore water resistance?

We can replace gaskets and test water resistance when a watch’s construction and condition allow. Results depend on case integrity, crown/tube wear, crystal fit, and prior damage.

We will explain what we can test and what the limits are for your specific model.

Do you polish cases and bracelets?

We avoid unnecessary polishing. Cosmetic work is available only when requested and approved, and we discuss the trade-offs (material removal, edge softening, original finish).

Care-first policy

What does “timekeeping test” mean?

After service, we record measured readings across a set of conditions appropriate to the watch. The goal is to verify stability and detect issues that might appear only after sustained running.

Mechanical

Multiple positions with dated notes

Quartz

Function verification and current draw checks when applicable

Results are shared in a concise service log at handover.

How to prepare 🧭

A few steps that help us diagnose quickly and keep your watch’s story intact.

Bring these items

  • The watch and any spare links
  • Warranty card or reference number if available
  • A short note: when the issue started and how often it happens

If it stopped

Do not force the crown. Bring it as-is so we can observe the current state.

1

Describe the symptom

01

Tell us what you observe: stopping, running fast/slow, date issues, moisture, crown feel, or any impact event.

Specific examples help us test the correct functions first.

2

Agree the scope

02

We quote for the work that matches your goal. If you want “accuracy only” versus “full service,” the approach and cost differ.

We write the agreed scope into your estimate.

3

Leave it with us, calmly

03

Once you approve, we proceed with controlled handling and documented checkpoints. If we find a surprise inside, we pause and contact you.

No pressure, no rushed decisions.

4

Pick up with a service log

04

At handover, we share the service record and timekeeping notes, plus guidance for winding, wear, and water exposure based on your model.

A clear ending, with documentation you can keep.

Still deciding?

These notes can help you choose between an intake check, a regulation, or a full service. If you want a price range first, our pricing page lists typical starting points in MYR.

If your watch has an unknown service history, an intake check is the safest first step. It lets us quote based on measurements, not assumptions.

Recommendation: start with intake and estimate

Documented

If the watch runs consistently fast or slow but functions normally, regulation may be appropriate. We document before and after readings.

Recommendation: regulation after baseline checks
